MSC Project Management
The MS in Project Management affords students the opportunity to build technical, strategic, and managerial skills. The Master of Project Management aims to enable students to critically apply theory and principles to practice by examining real world project management cases and examples in a collaborative environment facilitated by academics and industry practitioners. This program provides students with the knowledge to become a project manager who is able to plan, lead, and manage projects efficiently and cost effectively.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The prospective candidate to join the MSc in Project Management must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree. The program is normally designed for those who have followed relevant and appropriate undergraduate studies at recognized Ethiopian Universities/Colleges or an equivalent academic qualification from a similar international institution. To obtain admission to the program, applicants should fulfil the following entrance requirements accordingly:
- A successful completion of at least a Bachelor’s Degree in management, business studies, social sciences, technology, health science, engineering, etc.
- The applicant must pass the written examination set by the department to assess the individuals’ competence and preparedness to pursue a graduate program. The exam will be an aptitude test containing Mathematics and English; and
- Female applicants are highly encouraged.
- Applicants who have attended study abroad should bring certificates equivalence approved and authenticated by FDRE Education and Training Authority (ETA).
- Applicants should fulfil additional requirements that may be set by the School of Business and Economics.
- The candidate must agree to take at least two bridging courses, if s/he is not from management background and to pay for the bridging courses.
