ADMISSION REQUIRMENTS FOR UNDERGRADUTE PROGRAMS
Gibson College welcomes applicants for enrollment and admission to its undergraduate programs based on results of the Ethiopian Higher Education Entrance Certificate Examination (EHEECE). Foreign examinations results must be certified by the Ministry of Education for their equivalency to the EHEECE. Admissions and enrolments to all programs are processed by the College Registrar.
There are four alternative requirements for entry into our undergraduate programs, namely, applicants must have, completed preparatory high school, completed TVET (10+3 and 10+4), COC exam with result level 3 and above, be holders of a Bachelor’s degree.
- meet the EHEEE score cut‐off point set by the Ministry of Education for eligibility to join a tertiary education institution
- produce the EHEEE (12th grade) score card
- EGSEC (10th grade) score card
- transcript for preparatory high school
- take digital literacy test
- properly complete the application form
- non-refundable 500 ETB application fee
- Former ESLCE exam results are not considered for admission
- produce an official transcript from the university/college from where they obtained the diploma
- produce the diploma
- produce the Certificate of Competency (CoC)
- produce the EHEEE score card
- letter/documentation that attests towards the applicant having at least one years of work experience in their profession after obtaining the diploma
- take digital literacy test
- properly complete the application form
- non-refundable 500 ETB application fee
- pass entrance exam of the college
- Letter from the Higher Education Relevance and Quality Agency (HERQA) for the certification of your educational documents. (The office of HERQA is found in Addis Ababa on the road which is leading to Shiro Meda in front of the American Embassy).
- Educational documents.
- Passport size photographs.
- A letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia or from your embassy here in Ethiopia showing the reason for being here.
- take digital literacy test
- properly complete the application form
- non-refundable 500 ETB application fee
- produce an official transcript from the university/college from where they obtained the degree
- produce the original and copy of degree
- take digital literacy test

- no exemption is allowed
- admission to the same field of previous degree earned is not allowed.
ADMISSION REQUIRMENTS FOR MASTER'S PROGRAMS
To obtain admission to the MBA program, applicants should fulfil the admission requirements. Potential candidates for the MBA program must fulfill the following criteria:
- A successful completion of a Bachelor Degree in Marketing Management, Marketing and Sales Management, Management/Business Management/, Accounting/Accounting & Finance/, Tourism Management/Tourism & Hotel management, Public Administration, Economics, Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Cooperative Management and in any other related fields
- The applicant must pass the written examination set by the department of MBA to assess the individuals’ competence and preparedness to pursue a graduate The exam will be an aptitude test containing Mathematics and English;
- Applicants who have attended study abroad should bring certificates equivalence approved and authenticated by FDRE Education and Training Authority (ETA).
- The candidate must agree to take at least two bridging courses, if s/he is not from management background and to pay for the bridging courses.

The Master of Arts in Marketing Management (MAMM) program is normally designed for those who have followed relevant and appropriate studies or equivalent institutions.
Potential candidates for the MAMM program must fulfill the following criteria:
- A successful completion of a Bachelor Degree in Marketing Management, Marketing and Sales Management, Management/Business Management/, Accounting/Accounting & Finance/, Tourism Management/Tourism & Hotel management, Public Administration, Economics, Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Cooperative Management and in any other related fields.
- A good performance in the entrance examination and/or equivalent admission instruments.
- Applicants who have attended study abroad should bring certificates equivalence approved and authenticated by FDRE Education and Training Authority (ETA).
Those who come from unrelated background will take bridging courses and to pay for the bridging courses.
Non-refundable 500 ETB application fee
The prospective candidate to join the MSc in Project Management must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree. The program is normally designed for those who have followed relevant and appropriate undergraduate studies at recognized Ethiopian Universities/Colleges or an equivalent academic qualification from a similar international institution. To obtain admission to the program, applicants should fulfil the following entrance requirements accordingly:
- A successful completion of at least a Bachelor’s Degree in management, business studies, social sciences, technology, health science, engineering, etc.
- The applicant must pass the written examination set by the department to assess the individuals’ competence and preparedness to pursue a graduate program. The exam will be an aptitude test containing Mathematics and English; and
- Female applicants are highly encouraged.
- Applicants who have attended study abroad should bring certificates equivalence approved and authenticated by FDRE Education and Training Authority (ETA).
- Applicants should fulfil additional requirements that may be set by the School of Business and Economics.
- The candidate must agree to take at least two bridging courses, if s/he is not from management background and to pay for the bridging courses.
